Shaped like the bay bearing the same name in San Francisco, the Half Moon Bay is one of the most beautiful scenery spots along Hua-Tong coast highway. Our isolated B&B is privileged being situated by a small mountain and facing where the sun rises- the Pacific ocean. The beach's covered with soft sands and, in winter time, small pebbles. That, together with ocean breeze, welcomes our visitors to reach there direct from our backyard.
THE ROOMS
All rooms are with ocean views and equipped with AC, cable tv, refrigerator(suites only), thermo, safety deposit box and internet access.
The suites for two persons are rated from NT$1800 to $2200 per night except Chinese new year. Extra person is charged from NT$400 to $500.
Making reservations: After booking over the telephone or through the internet , a deposit of 50%-65% of the rent is required. You may wire it through ATM to the bank account No. 822-336540105906.
If you need to cancel the reservation due to typhoon or nature disasters, refund can be made. For personal reasons, a
7 to 2 days
notice is required to make cancellation and to get your refund. A NT$100 processing fee for refund will be charged.
THE DIRECTIONS
By car :Driving from north(Taipei) ¡V
After Freeway No.5 via E-lan & Su-ao,take highway No.9 (Su-hua highwey) to Hualien. Then take highway No.11(the coast highway) south. At 36Km road mark, you¡¦ll see the house. Total driving time should be approx. 4 hrs. From south(Taitong): Just take highway No.11 north and at 36Km, you are here. Driving time would be approx. 3 hrs.
By train: Get off at Hualien station, and you may find stores with rental cars, motorcycles and bikes. With the maps they provide, just get onto highway No.11 and you won¡¦t miss us.
By bus: Next to the train station, there is the bus station. Where south bound bus for Taitong via coast highway leaves every hour(sometimes every two hours in off seasons). The bus drivers would normally be pleased to drop you off at our gate where the 36 Km road mark is located.
